Good looking, but just doesn't do the job!
This Button Sewing machine has the well known "Singer" brand name, but don't be fooled by that. At first sight, this hand sewing machine appears very well made, and the instruction booklet that comes with it , though with small print and hard to see, is really simple and understandable. That aside, this machine functions poorly, attaches buttons very loosely, and the mechanisim that makes it zig-zag between button holes doesn't work half of the time. (On 4 hole buttons, you sew 2 holes at a time, then throw a lever to make the machine sew the other two) I've used my moms zig-zag sewing machine often, when I was younger, so I'm not new to sewing machine operation. In short, I've tried unsuccessfully to make this machine work properly for a solid hour now, and am returning mine. This is a just a good looking piece of junk in my opinion. Folks, my advise, "Save your Money!!
