Great Rods
Best value out there ! I have several FX rods from 6ft to 9ft and have never had a problem. Use them mainly as Inshore Rods . Have caught many Redfish , Speckled trout , and small drum with no issues. Although they are listed as Freshwater Rods don't be fooled they will handle Saltwater also. Product was fine out of the box. I have it set up, but it hasnt been used yet. So in fairness, I cant rate it. I bought a smaller, lighter (5'6") version of the same line (Shimano FX) a year ago for an 8 yr old. The inner ring of the tip guide failed and popped out. I like Shimano rods.
