    Link Coupler Repair

    The link couplers on O and S gauge trains stick out for easy coupling, but this makes them susceptible to snapping off. I discovered, repairing them is near impossible with the normal tools of a model railroader. After doing some internet search, I ended up at Port Lines Hobby Supply where I purchased a Coupler Removal and Installation Tool. This solved my problem immediately and I have repaired every car in my fleet. This tool is special as it has the right depth knock out tool for removing pins, and the correct diameter and depth for swedging in a new pin. This is most critical. If you like your Flyer trains, you should have this tool in your tool kit! This keeps your Flyer trains durable and entertaining.
