The problem was they were old or compromised by time or something else. After one wear to church, no rain or bad weather either, the inside lining cracked and chipped off onto my stockings. They now look 20 years old on the inside.  I contacted the seller and sent details and pictures with no response other than contact eBay. I’m not trying to take advantage but I’ve feel taken advantage of
