Make Way for Dumb Bunnies
This is a very fun book for kids of various ages (both my 5- and 11-year-old enjoy it). For younger children, it's funny because it's silly and nonsensical; plus, the pictures add immensely to the silliness. My 5-year-old belly laughs at most of the illustrations. At the same time, for older children, the pictures add to the humor on a higher level because they include humor that younger children will most likely not appreciate. For example, in one picture, Momma Bunny is combing the beach. In one hand she holds a comb and in the other she has a can of styling "moose" with a picture of a moose on it. Clearly, most younger children aren't going to understand the use of the homonyms - combing and moose (instead of mousse) - in this picture, but the humor should not be lost on older children. ... I HIGHLY recommend this book, as well as the other 3 Dumb Bunnies books, to children of all ages (and the adults who still get to read to their little ones). Thank you, Mr. Pilkey!

The Dumb Bunnies Book Series
I happened upon our first Dumb Bunnies Series book at a local thrift store. Although I am not crazy about the name of the series as I feel it isn't a kind thing to call anyone or anything, we usually change the name to the Silly Bunnies at story time. (One of the advantages to reading to pre-school kids!) We find the stories refreshing, entertaining and best of all, WACKY-FUN! They are not only fun for our children to hear but they are fun for us to read aloud to our children! The illustrations are simple and clever, too. Because we like the books so much and as they are hard to find, we bought this one on eBay.
