If you are a property manager and you use these smart key locks you need this tool. these locks are bad about when you try to re key, sometimes they just get keyed wrong and you cant fix it, you can take to lock smith and they will use same tool to rekey for 10 bucks. good investment. lot of people dont know you can get the smart key locks ,which are a little lower quality in contractor pack 2 keyed locks and 2 keyed dead bolt locks for around 40.00 online from Lowes and they do have in some stores for 50.00

This unit was a little hard for me to figure out how to use. The directions were not real explicit. After getting my key stuck in the lock, I finally was able to reset the lock to my key. It worked fine the first time or two, but now the key doesn’t work again. Maybe my lock is defective. If not, then this device didn’t work correctly. I don’t know how ithe key can work can work one time and then later not work. It doesn’t make sense to me.
