    Absolutely amazing automotive tech. book!!

    I am a mechanical engineering student and I do all my own work on my vehicle- I bought this book to learn more about automotive ECUs and the only thing I can say is that this book is a GOLDMINE of knowledge! I paid $12 for my copy however I would have gladly paid much more considering how much information is in this book. Book covers everything from fuel supply to injector design, the different Bosch ECUs(k-jetronic, jetronic etc), lambda control, and exactly how each sensor in your vehicle works. Bottom line: I don't usually write reviews but in this case I am- this book is just that good. If you have a remote interest in automotive repair, don't hesitate to pick up a copy of this- it will be money well spent.

    A goldmine of information that is well written and detailed. Even gives you a history of each engine management type and why it changed. Best of all no fly-by-night voodoo tuning mods...just the truth. How do I know? Ive been working as a factory fuel injection specialist on GM products for over 20 years and have seen all sorts of unsound ideas...I still learned things from this book. A must read for anyone interested in learning about fuel injection...European or not the same techniques apply, after all--- all electronic fuel injection is licensed by Bosch.

    definitely helped me a great deal with the late 60 to early 70's VW fuel injection. no other book I found was any help at all
