I purchased and the seller sent as described, and in a reasonably timely manner, packed acceptably, for a tolerable shipping cost. I don’t recall significant communication from the seller. However, I would still buy from again. Thank you.

George Mac Donald was a lapsed Congressional minister who became a highly successful writer for children. He published a magazine for children and wrote prolifically. He lived in Kelmscott Manor with his large family and his neighbor was Lewis Carol who first read his new story about Alice in Wonderland to MacDonalds children. Some of the stories in this two volume set are among my favoite in all of English literature, especially The Golden Key and the Story of Photogen and Nycteris. MacDonald has been praised by some as having seemed to ...

  • THIS IS ONLY VOLUME 2 of two books!! You’ll wish you had Vol. 1

The book is in great shape! I just would have appreciated CLEAR info up front that this is just Vol. 2.of two volumes... the best stories, in my humble opinion, are in Vol. 1 and I’m a bit sad to need to look for that Volume now. So, other than that, great book❣️
