A harassed bishop's prayers are answered when an angel (played by Cary Grant) is sent from heaven to help him raise money for a new church. My two previous attempts at procuring this part from another source that I can't state but stays with 'A' didn't bubble wrap them and both arrived broken.     Excellent title, exactly what the movie is about!

    David Niven, Cary Grant, & Loretta Young star in the original movie more recently ineptly copied by Denzel Washington & Whitney Houston. Niven plays the role of a Church Bishop intent on building the greatest, most lavish temple of God. Young plays the role of his much neglected, but devoted wife. Grant plays the role of the Angel sent by God to get Niven back on the path God intends for him to take. Grant is a constant irritant to the tranquility of the Bishop. The Bishop's Wife will be dearly beloved of those who like the TV series, "Touched By An Angel"

    Great Christmas Story

    This is one of my very favorite old movies. The remake by Whitney Houston doesn't begin to compare!!! This is sweet, and touching. But the clothes, and the homes and furnishings in them are fabulous and fun to see. Another plus is that it takes place at Christmas time and has a wonderful scene where a boys choir sings a beautiful song. Must see this one!!

    The Bishops Wife

    This is the original movie not the remake with Whitney Houston & Denzel. If you saw that one then you will love this done with a lot of old fashion humor.
