About this product

Product Information

Experience the bestselling phenomenon of Brisingr, now in a deluxe edition This deluxe edition includes deleted scenes, never-before-seen art by the author, and a guide to dwarf runes. Following the colossal battle against the Empire's warriors on the Burning Plains, Eragon and his dragon, Saphira, have narrowly escaped with their lives. Still, there is more at hand for the Rider and his dragon, as Eragon finds himself bound by a tangle of promises he may not be able to keep. First is Eragon's oath to his cousin Roran: to help rescue Roran's beloved from King Galbatorix's clutches. But Eragon owes his loyalty to others, too. The Varden are in desperate need of his talents and strength--as are the elves and dwarves. When unrest claims the rebels and danger strikes from every corner, Eragon must make choices--choices that take him across the Empire and beyond, choices that may lead to unimagined sacrifice. In Eragon lies the greatest hope for a better Alaga sia. Can this once simple farm boy rise to become the leader he must to unite the rebel forces and defeat the king? Very fast shipping. Somewhat disappointed that the edition received is not the edition pictured in the listing. The listing itself clarifies this though, so that’s mostly my fault for not reading closer. Still happy with the purchase and service.

  • Great book, worthwhile deluxe edition--highly recommended!

I got into the Inheritance Cycle six months ago when I saw the final installment in the store. I decided to read it right away, even though I had read none of the others--so, this was actually the last book I read in the series. Even already knowing about many of the things that happened, I found this book very exciting and I couldn't wait to find out what would happen in the next chapter. I chose to purchase the deluxe edition because I wanted the deleted scenes and dwarvish runes. I think the deleted passages that were included at the back of this book provided further insight into Eragon's character--particularly the "Healing Scene". I really liked the organization too--the regular text, featured in the standard edition, including the acknowledgements and the translations from ...

  • This book was amazing for the price and will be a great book to read.

I bought this book because it is the third book of the inheritance cycle. This series is one of the best book series I have ever read. The book had a many surprising answers to questions from the first and second book. Before buying this book I recommend reading the first two books or else you will probably be a little confused. Compare to the first and second book it was ok the first was the best and the second book is not as good as Brisingr.
