Great book, worthwhile deluxe edition--highly recommended!
I got into the Inheritance Cycle six months ago when I saw the final installment in the store. I decided to read it right away, even though I had read none of the others--so, this was actually the last book I read in the series. Even already knowing about many of the things that happened, I found this book very exciting and I couldn't wait to find out what would happen in the next chapter. I chose to purchase the deluxe edition because I wanted the deleted scenes and dwarvish runes. I think the deleted passages that were included at the back of this book provided further insight into Eragon's character--particularly the "Healing Scene". I really liked the organization too--the regular text, featured in the standard edition, including the acknowledgements and the translations from ... I got into the Inheritance Cycle six months ago when I saw the final installment in the store. Even already knowing about many of the things that happened, I found this book very exciting and I couldn't wait to find out what would happen in the next chapter. I really liked the organization too--the regular text, featured in the standard edition, including the acknowledgements and the translations from Paolini's unique languages--came before any of the bonus material. Also, Paolini tells the reader where the deleted passages were meant to go. Now, if I had already read a first edition, I may have enjoyed seeing the deleted scenes in the midst of the text--but, it would have confused me under the given circumstances. I also appreciated the artwork by the author included in this edition. I would recommend this book to anyone who loves fantasy and has an appreciation for depth in a story. For fans of the Inheritance Cycle who have only read other books in the series, this provides new insight into Eragon's character, his relationship with Arya, his parentage, and his relationship with Roran. I really hope you read this book and love it as much as I did! (And still do, I plan to reread very soon!)

This book was amazing for the price and will be a great book to read.
I bought this book because it is the third book of the inheritance cycle. This series is one of the best book series I have ever read. The book had a many surprising answers to questions from the first and second book. Before buying this book I recommend reading the first two books or else you will probably be a little confused. Compare to the first and second book it was ok the first was the best and the second book is not as good as Brisingr.I bought this book because it is the third book of the inheritance cycle.
