bought the bulbs for my aunt. hard to find the incondescent in a 3 way. trie all three ways and it worked the first time. tried it again and nothing took bulb out and gent;y shook it and i could here loose filaments. tried the second bulb and only the 100 watt would work

We were wondering where we could purchase some really good lighting ....tired of the new low lights which don't really provide brightness when needed! I'm all about saving the earth and global warming caution...yet.....For seniors we should be allowed at least 1 or 2 bright bulbs!!!

Bad filaments
These use two filaments and require a three-way socket that that turns on one filament then the other then both to achieve three levels of light. I ordered four. Unfortunately both filaments only worked in one bulb initially. Now only one works in that bulb. There are now three way LED bulbs. Buy those instead.
