Confusing lipstick shade variations
The lipsticks that I ordered arrived promptly as promised. Unfortunately this shade of NYC Lipcolor "Petal" comes in a #314A and B. The site did not distinguish between A and B shades so I took a chance. It was a mistake as I received the A shade and wanted the B shade. The color that I received (I ordered two of them I am afraid) are all wrong. Way too light and I cannot wear them at all. Why the manufacturer (NYC) has two different shades under the same number makes no sense to me. The site that I ordered from did not know of or make the distinction in shades therefore I purchased a product that I am unable to use. The product quality is good just be careful that you actually get the lipstick shade that you want and can use. The lipsticks that I ordered arrived promptly as promised. Hard to find
This is a lipstick that has been discontinued from a regular selling price of 99 cents so of course the price is jacked up. Sadly both lipsticks were broken at the bottom but I just pushed then down and used them carefully.
