    This is exactly what I needed.

    I was pleased to see it was clean. Well done. I put my battery in it, placed it in the base docking port, it recognized the handset by blinking an LED a few times and it has been all good. I had dropped mine onto concrete three times in one day. What a drag. Augh! It did not work right after that. ha ha ha

    Range of Uniden 5.8 GHz

    These pair of Uniden works terrific when you are near base and open fields but when step into bedrooms with walls between base and phone, in the house, signal fails a lot, they should have more capability due to 5.8 GHz range that works better in other brand products with the same features, beside this matter these pair of cordless phones are great products that I can recomend to people who has small houses or very good indoor open fields.

    Uniden phone

    It is nice to have more than one phone without having to find two telephone outlets. The phone is fine but some cell phone callers complain about their reception. They are usually using low quality cell phones though. We have had no problems with the batteries. One drawback is there is no explanation on the phone about how the functions work. It is necessary to rely on the disc sent with the phone to understand it's operation. The Uniden website doesn't seem to have much more information either. I don't believe they even offer what is on the disc. Overall though the phone is a good one and until now I have had no real problems with it. I have purchased two sets and all four phones function without problems.

    Great for the price!

    Really nice phones with plenty of features, ample volume, excellent call clarity, and very good battery life. Only one complaint: they don't have great range. So if you stay within their range, they work well, but if you have a large lot and tend to wander, you might have some issues.

    Efficient cordless phone system

    We wanted a cordless phone system that could serve two rooms with speaker phone and headset capabilities. This was one of a very few even available. Most others only had one of the two options. It was economical as well. We're happy with it in all respects: good reception, excellent styling and easy handling. The only drawback as we can see from our experience is that it could have provided some means to attach it to yourself so you can be totally mobile with it as you're talking. Like a pouch to put the phone in that's attached to you by a clip or such. Overall we would highly recommend this product to any prospective buyer.
