I just returned from a trip to Antartica, and wanted to learn more. This does the job, but it does cover North pole as well. Beautiful photography!. After looking at my SLR camera this movie makes my photos look blah. The video has telephoto wide lens views, gorgeous color, and close ups that are literally out of this world. I would buy it again and might get one for my travel companion for his birthday.

Polar bears, seals, penguins, fish & wild birds abound. Great documentary about the COLD part of our planet, and the life and death struggles for the creatures that live there. A winner!

Narration is complete and keeps you interested Photography and video is uneaqualled. What more can I say. After we viewed this dvd, most of our family has now borrowed it and watched it,with intentions of getting their own copy.
