    Eleven on Top by Janet Evanovich (2006)

    This is the best of the series, so far--I think. The funniest, the most character development, the most insane shenanigans, the most laughs...simply, the most! Laugh-out-loud wonderful! Steph decides she's had enough, and is tired of having her cars and apartment dissolve in fiery explosions, not to mention being stalked, cuffed, shot at, tackled, kidnapped, and being involved in many other life-threatening situations. She hands in her fake bounty hunter ID badge, her cuffs and gun (that resides in her cookie jar, and has been used only one time), and goes in search of a safer, better-paying job. Not much luck in that endeavor, so she joins Ranger's top-secret security company--"Range Man"--and finds it even more dangerous and life-threatening than the bounty hunting business. She, once ...

    Janet Evanovich continues to captivate readers with her current Stephanie Plum novel! In Eleven On Top, not only does Stephanie resign as a bounty hunter, stalked by a maniac whom everyone thought dead, she has a series of goofy jobs & she & Lula are zanier than Lucy & Ethel! Stephanie finally works for smolderingly sexy Ranger in his security business. Which causes hot tempers & temperatures between Ranger & Stephanie's on-again off-again boyfriend, Joe Morelli! Readers are left hanging, when who should Stephanie encounter but Carmen Manolo - Ranger's WIFE!!!!!!!!! Readers are very much looking forward to the next Stephanie Plum novel!     Laugh out Loud Fun

    Stephanie Plum has had enough with being a fugitive apprehension agent, so she sets out to find a job that won't get her cars blown up. After attempting a job at the button factory and at Cluck in a Bucket, she joins Rangeman. Working with Ranger probably isn't a good idea and certainly her on-again, off-again boyfriend Joe Morelli won't like the idea, but somehow she has to pay the rent. But, can she handle working next to Ranger? I loved this book and laughed out loud a few times. Poor Stephanie just can't decide what job suits her, and I'm not sure I can either. I loved the sexual tension between Ranger and Stephanie. Sure makes it hard for a reader to decide which man she like better.

    Mama Mia Mama Macaroni!!!!

    I think probably one of the funnier or funniest of the series!! Looks like a lot of other ebayers agree! Just the two characters' antics--Lula and Mama Macaroni alone are worth the cost of the book. They're really OUT THERE and DO exist out there! If you get the book you will find out about the MOLE and I don't mean an undercover operative. I mean a big hairy MOLE! Too funny. Plus Ms. Plum gets to cozy up but NOT TOO cozy to the Range Man. Will she learn more about the sexy and mysterious Ranger? Maybe a tad or maybe more in the #12 of the series?? JE is a bit ahead of the curve as she has Stephanie P. looking for a J-0-B in this '06 tome. Wonder if she would get even a crappy job so easily in '09 times??? Still the job search is a hoot plus explosive in more ways than one! ...
