It's the early 1960s, and new Brit in town Michael Carrington (Maxwell Caulfield) has just arrived at Rydell High School. good movie with good lead characters

I like this movie as much as grease.Grease 2 has a great supporting cast as well as the two lead characters.Sequels are tough to equal the original when its so successful but this movie is one of my favorites.

  • Grease 2

First, I love the musical aspect of it. I love the singing, the dancing. Now the actors and actresses were another story. I did not buy the entire role of Michelle Pfeifer. Fortunately for us, she has grown into her own as an accomplished actress. The hard role she played was almost annoying. Oh by the way, the cute guy trying to fit in, was just adorable. It was also good to see the old teachers and some of the old gang except for (excuse the spelling) Kinniki, what is he like 90 years old now. That was simply ridiculous. It also had more sexual innuendos than the last one but I would rate it average/good. I bought it for my 11 year old and she loves it so I need'nt say more.

  • Watchable & Fun

The songs in Grease 2 are not as memorable as those in Grease 1, although I did like "Cool Rider" and "Girl For All Seasons." Maxwell Caulfield & Michelle Pfeiffer were attractive, but didn't have quite the star power of John Travolta and Olivia Newton-John. Nevertheless, this musical was fun to watch, if you don't take it too seriously. If you DO stop to analyze it, movies like Grease, Grease 2, and Cry-Baby aren't as harmless as they first appear, since it is always the "square" kid who must "go bad" in order to be cool and find true love. For once, why can't a bad kid clean up her act --- or accept people the way they are? At least Grease 2 gets props because it's the BOY who has to change, rather than the usual scenario of the GIRL changing to please a guy. In that sense, Grease 2 is ...

  • Grease 2

Grease 2 what a great movie. If you enjoy musicals this one is for you. Grease was great but this by far is better and a more modern musical, love and learnig film. I bought this for my tween and teenage daughter feeling they would love it as much as I do being is is one of my favorite all time movies. They just love it and watch it on average 5 to 6 times a week. The four year old got in on the act and sings and dances with all the great songs and music. Michelle Phiffer was great in this role pairingwith Adrian Zmed and of course the original office ladies who could ever forget Miss MCGee. Need a night of grea fun pull up a chair and pop in this all time great and see how long it takes before you are toe tapping and bee bopping along to this hit from 1982.

  • Grease 2 DVD

Although this movie did terribly in the theaters in '82, I find it fun to watch. The music is good and I like the characters. Maxwell Caulfield is just beyond HOT and Michelle Pfeiffer carries her own weight in her first starring role, giving us a glimpse of the star she was born to be. They both do their own singing! Some call this film a guilty pleasure, but I loved it from the first! Did I say that Maxwell Caulfield is hot? He is also a fine actor. He is believable as a geek with determination to win fair heart. He uses the T-Bird's weaknesses against them and also wins them in the end! Overall, an enjoyable film that was grossly under-rated. I enjoy it enough to ignore what flaws there are. I give it a C+.
