Designed to simulate a computer game, the animated series follows the cute little Latina girl, her monkey pal Boots, and their anthropomorphic cohorts Map and Backpack as they set out on problem-solving adventures that encourage interaction and physical activity while teaching simple concepts such as counting, logic skills, and basic Spanish. This volume includes two fun-filled, educational episodes: in "Lost Map," Map is mistaken for a stick by a silly bird and is carried to the top of Tallest Mountain; and in "Super Map," the trio need to get down Tallest Mountain to Dora's house.

    Dora the Explorer dvd- Map Adventures

    My 20 month old daughter loves Dora and Map Adventures is a perfect addition to our collection. It is a very educational in the way it teaches counting, the alphabet, Spanish, and how to be a sharing, nice person to everyone. This one also included 2 bonus episodes which makes a total of 4 episodes.

    cute movie my 3 year old really enjoys it!!

    I really enjopy the way this show is so interactive. My daughter is almost 3 and she can count to 10 in Spanish and knows about 20 other words such as 'abre' which means 'open'. I know it helps her vocabulary and comprehension.

    Good movie

    Great children's movie. Colorful, creative, and is good for teaching kids some Spanish words. Can also learn them shapes and colors.

    Excellent DVD

    My 3 year ols adores this DVD tremendously. Great bonus features. Would recommend to other parents of toddlers.
