It is an excellent way to learn, I would say if you have some little basis of German. Great idea of having the key sentences/words translated at the end of each chapter so you don't really have to have to hold a dictionary with your other hand. You don't have to read the entire book at once, I'm reading the chapters several times enjoying to understand something else every time I read them.
