    This book is small but has it all !

    Has it all ! Color photos from different eras, past history from earliest times, touching remembrances, patterns, instructions to make your own. Chapters are logically sequenced and kinds of aprons we wouldn't have thought of are explained. Some advertising photos from 40's through '60's, too.

    The Apron Book by EllynAnne Geisel (2006)

    I have a love for old linens and vintage aprons, this book is perfect for that. It is really well done with beautiful color pictures and fun, interesting stories. Also tips on making your own apron and a pattern included, just a very sweet well done book. I am enjoying it...I think it will be one of those fun books that you enjoy reading and then re-reading it again and again...would make a nice gift book!

    Paisley Pincushion Aprons Galore Paisley Pincushion

    The Paisley Pincushion loved this book. Apron history....an actual apron pattern, enough pictures to really take you down memory lane. It has great photos and wonderful stories. I've met EllnAnne Geisel at a trade show, even though in a huge hurry, she graciously took time to answer questions and talk apron patterns with me. She is as lovely in person as her book is.
