    The watch that makes a statement

    This watch is amazing. I like stylish and bold look of this watch. Body is well designed and natural leather of the strap looks great. It also fits well to your wrist, you quickly forget it's on your hand. What I like most about Fossil watches is a great sense for integrating old-style-look with a cutting age design. This is what distinguishes Fossil watches from other brands. And JR1157 is definitely the one that will make a statement.

    weighty (ala ridiculously heavy

    No doubt about it, this watch most certainly does have style, but it's a clunker ;meaning too heavy which there's no mention in its advertising. The band doesn't rest properly on one's wrist as 1/2 top/bottom leather strap mounts turn up instead of laying flush w/ the watch back. Lastly, nothing in the enclosed instructions telling the owner how this watch is set. The winder (knurled knob) moves freely & there is no room to pull out said winder due to its PROTECTIVE (?????) housing; a ton of metal there. This is the last time I ever buy a watch online

    Unique Watch

    I wanted a man's fossil watch because it is big. I am a female. I like the leather, the style and the watch. I forget it even has the date. I wish it glowed in the dark, but that is minor. I don't even wear it in the dark. I own 24 variety colors of watches, for what mood I am in. I am proud to own a fossil. I also want the woman's fossil now for more variety.

    Looks beautiful but not easy to use.

    This is a beautiful watch, however it is hard to see time hands because they are silver on top of mostly silver chronograph. My main problem is that there were no instructions on how to set and use the watch. I figured it out pretty easily. The watch band git nicely and the leather was heavy though supple. The face draws a lot of attention. The date setting is for 31 days and for months with 30 days it will need to be reset. Overall design is lovely though not as functional as it looks.

    Very Nice Wacth

    The watch looks nice and I receive compliments on it all of the time. However, the reason I gave it 4/5 stars is because the one I was shipped, the stopwatch feature on it does not work.
