JOHN PIKE'S WATERCOLOR BOOK
This is a classic watercolor book that should be in every painter's library. It is especially useful for working on values and shapes. The only thing I didn't like about it was that many of the illustraions were in black and white. After I thought about it awhile and did some of the exercises I realized that this wasn't all bad because it made you think in terms of value and contrast. There were some great finished paintings in color. It is well written and easy to follow.This is a classic watercolor book that should be in every painter's library.
