    Corby Flood - Another Flood of Clever Fun From Chris Riddell

    This is one of Chris Riddell's best titles in the Far Flung Adventures series. A pleasure for children, the story is a genuine treat for savvy adults as well. It brings to mind those great drawing room (or shipboard) dramas by Noel Coward of the 30's so well that any reader is instantly drawn in by the diverse and often bizarre characters and their adventures on the ship and at its various ports-of-call. Every child who reads this book can become their own detective as they proceed to unravel the mysteries aboard the ship with Corby and her family. I wholeheartedly recommend this book, both as one for the single reader as well as one for a parent to read with their children. A+++!!!
