  • Good Ab Workout

    I decided to buy this DVD because I was debating on buying the Fluidity bar and DVD's then I heard that Fluidity and The Bar Method Body are based off of The Lotte Berk Method. I thought I would save myself a little money by going with these first to see if I would like the type of exercise that is involved. I do like the exercises, and I definitely feel them working. My muscles are sore, and I can see them changing after just seven workouts. It takes a few workouts to get the form down right. I couldn't figure out one of the waist movements. They kept on talking about feeling the burn in your waist, and I couldn't. After a few adjustments, I finally got it right. The DVD is a little slow moving in some parts, and I find myself telling the instructor to move on ...

  • With good form, this is a great ab workout

    The first time I did this workout, I didn't feel a thing the following day. As an advanced exerciser, I was disappointed but figured I'd keep it for days when I wanted some light exercise. A few weeks later, I read on an internet message board that for the Lotte Berk Method exercises to be really effective, you need to pay very close attention to your form. I realized I had probably been a little sloppy on form, so I decided to try it again. The second time around, all I can say is WOW! My abs were really pleasantly sore the following day. The workout was very challenging. You can follow one of the three exercisers to match your fitness level. I did all the advanced modifications and really felt it. I'd recommend this workout.

  • short but intense!

    I've been wanting to try this video for a while so when I saw it on ebay at , I had to get it. I just finished my first workout and I am glad I got it! This is a short workout, only a few exercises, but they are different exercises, similar to Pilates, but a couple that i have never seen before. If done with the intensity, form and the concentration that the instructor is good at telling you about, you can feel it almost immediately in your abs, deep down in muscle regular ab work barely touches. There is good stretching to shape work too, perfect for me who usually skips stretching after workouts. So this is a perfect workout alone, after strength training or cardio, morning, evening, great all around. There is one girl in the workout showing modified positions, so even beginners ...

  • Hip Hugger Abs

    I really liked the full-body workout, even though the main target was abs. The exercises were also challenging, but not impossible. I also like any workout that demonstrates alternate versions of the exercises for beginners. The instructors do hit one of my pet peeves: if you're going to work out to music, then do the moves to the music. Otherwise the music is just a distraction. I may have to use this DVD with the volume off because it's just too irritating.

  • Great Workout

    This one was a little tough at times, but it was only about 1/2 hour, so I could handle it for the most part. The next day my abs were sore, and now after doing it every other day for almost a month, I can see the difference in my abs.
