      The International: Stylish

      Nice stylish crime drama. Watts and Owen make a good on screen pair. Filmed beautifully with a wonderful soundtrack. It might be the same old cops and robbers story, but we get to see things unfold from an Interpol perspective which is new. The film has a total flair that is quite unique. I come back to the description “stylish”.

      The International

      I think The International was a great film mainly because Clive Owen and the actors surrounding him acted greatly throughout the film. I enjoyed the dialouge and the special effects. There was really only one down fall to this movie but the downfall is what really makes this film either good or bad for audiences and that is that there is only really a couple of high action scenes in the movie. The first is the one where Clive Owen has this insanely awesome gun battle in a museum and the second contains a lot of dialouge but is interesting and intense and that is the scene were Clive Owen manages to kill one of the main bad guys in the film (Which doesn't really happen until the very end).       Beautiful and Exciting!

      I love the architecture that is so much a part of this film. The Blu-ray Disc is sharp and clear and wonderful to watch. Clive Owen is splendid in the role. A very satisfying conspiracy thriller!

      In the movie "The International", Interpol Agent Louis Salinger (Clive Owen) and Manhattan Assistant District Attorney Eleanor Whitman (Naomi Watts) fight to bring to justice a very powerful bank. It seems as though they are fighting against all agencies included their own to bring down the bank. The bank is financing terrorist organization and war to collect on the debt. Louis and Eleanor are in a deadly cat and mouse game with the bank. This movie was extremely boring in my opinion. I fell asleep literally 3 times and it took me almost 4 days to finish it. It seems as though I have seen this movie a hundred times, it is just terribly unoriginal. There was absolutely no character development and the story line was difficult to follow.       Awesome movie you check out !!

      Great film that is mostly forgotten. Saw this recently on The HD Channel, like it so much that I tracked down a Blu-ray for my collection. Of course the standout, is the action set piece filmed at the Guggenheim Museum in NYC, Films that this are rarely made today. Where's the 4K?
