Solid construction, waterproof, quality glass
I have had a pair of these binocs for about 5 years. My wife used a similar size pair of binocs by a different maker. She kept putting her's down and borrowing mine when she wanted a better view. I finally gave up and found a second pair identical to mine, and she is happy. Waterproof, doesn't fog up. the right-lens diopter adjustment locks into place. Whether whale watching or bird watching, your eyes won't tire from hours of viewing as they may do with inferior misaligned optics.I have had a pair of these binocs for about 5 years. Excellent Optics With Other Issues
I used these Pentax binoculars for bird watching, nature observation and stargazing. Optically, they were excellent...very bright and clear with precise focusing. These Pentax binoculars are packed with features and are extremely well made. The fit and finish of these binoculars are outstanding. Unfortunately, after a few months I decided to sell them because, although the focusing was precise, the focusing was too stiff and slow for me. In addition,the eyecups were too small for my eyes and made viewing very uncomfortable. These binoculars also have a narrow FOV.I used these Pentax binoculars for bird watching, nature observation and stargazing. The fit and finish of these binoculars are outstanding. These Pentax 10x43 DCF SP binoculars are my third pair of Pentax binoculars. The quality of their construction is simply outstanding. The view you get through them is very crisp and sharp. Focusing them is quick and precise. They match up very well to any binoculars made at a fraction of the cost of the highest quality binoculars sold. There are other very fine binoculars made, but it is extremely hard to significantly improve upon Pentax DCF SP binoculars.These Pentax 10x43 DCF SP binoculars are my third pair of Pentax binoculars. The quality of their construction is simply outstanding. The view you get through them is very crisp and sharp. Focusing them is quick and precise.
