    Treasure Lying in the Ruins

After buying a couple of Kodak digitals at the dawn of the digital era as the pixel count kept rising, I spent lots of money on Nikons and then Olympus and Fuji mirrorless--(great cameras but as sensitive and complicated as a Ferrari. When my brother passed away recently, it fell to his twin to go through his possessions. He told me he had come across a small digital camera and asked me if I wanted it. I said, let me take a look. When I saw it, it took a while for me to recall it was the camera I had given him maybe two decades ago, but, after charging the batteries it seemed to work fine.
