Bought to update a 20 year ago Master's degree. It is full of practical and usable material. This is a field that has evolved slowly and it is gratifying to see that it is moving forward with the extreme changes in our society. The textbook is packed with information that is newer than my Master's degree.
textbook assigned for social work class. To be honest, it has numerous detailed information however, this advantage could turn to be a burden for reading. Better if it is just a reference book. Also, I was pissed off by its first 4 chapters! it was like they were all talking about the same thing!
Verified purchase: Yes | Condition: Pre-owned
Looks like the US version. I would buy international books whenever possible! The textbook is an easy read.
