    Tough but inexpensive.

    I have purchased this pen several times to put into my EDC, briefcase, and other places I needed a durable pen that can withstand punishing situations. I collect pens but if I need a daily use pen this is it. It goes from my desk to the field, and still looks like it is too expensive to use on a construction site, but that's where it differed from my other pens. This one is tough, but cheap enough that if it was lost or stolen it can be quickly replaced. Those who steal it think that got away with a very expensive drafting type pen, but in reality they find it's cheap enough to buy and that's what keeps them off the shelf.

    Zebra F-301 ink pens

    My wife and I have used Zebra ink pens since March of 1991. They are reliable. They do not skip or smear, unless you misuse them by writing on non-paper surfaces, such as trying to write on rough surfacesl. They're refillable, and their refills can be found in many stores. Zebra pens are not expensive, which is good, because I'm prone to losing or misplacing them.

    Great pen!
