Used it to restore old railroad fixture
This item is a low wattage (15w) 120 volt bulb used primarily for appliances. However the double bayoneted base fit the socket of a old railroad tricolored lamp. The original RR bulb was RR standard 75 volts, which burned out quickly when someone plugged it into 120 vac. This new bulb allowed for the fixture to look and be displayed as period authentic.
