It was a 30 year old book sold as "used" with "Damaged" in the description, just another cry baby TROLL looking for the slightest imperfection. A few pages were slightly stuck together, all he had to do was gently pull them apart. I offered HALF the money back and keep the book, DONT sell to this troll - you'll be in for a headache - hes on my blocked list

The Likeness
This author, who I don't know much about, is very good in character development and plot. I read the first book and then sought out other tittles by the same author. Very nice read with interesting facts about those things Irish and/or English. Very descriptive of scenes and with what I would describe as the optimum among of emotional content. Not to feminine and not to - oh you know just simply balanced. It was an enjoyable mystery which left me knowing some interesting people with somewhat everyday lives that seem memorable and captivating. If your connected to or involved with law enforcement at any level you'll appreciate the spot on reactions of the main characters to not just the "job" but also the reactions to "the suits". Too much politics in crime solving is simply ... This author, who I don't know much about, is very good in character development and plot. An Exciting Read
I found this to be a spellbinding novel from front to back. I started reading and couldn't bear to stop. I was surprised at the ending but in a very good way. One of the best I've read.
