I've only had the phone for a couple weeks but so far I haven't found anything that I dislike. The camera has taken some fantastic photos. Removable battery works very easy. Screen is very crisp and clear. Processes everything very fast. Fingerprint reader and on off button on back takes a little getting used to but works very well. I think it will be better because it is less likely to be pressed while in my pocket. Nice size, still fits reasonably well in my front pocket. Battery life has been good, usually have at least 25% left by the end of the day, I would classify myself as a moderate user. I am coming from a Samsung S5 and this phone is definitely a significant upgrade.

As soon as receiving the phone, the camera has never worked great and quality was low. First time phone slipped landed on soft surface, cracked/shattered top of screen where camera is and the camera has had a glare from it in every picture every since. Quality and durability expected from this phone was sadly disappointing.

I really like this phone. It is a great size and works wonderful. The camera is great. You can add a micro sd card (i added a 128 gb) and swap out the battery. Fingerprint sensor works great too. It's easier than any other way to unlock the phone. Even less effort than unlocking it with no password by pressing the button. The only downside is LG would not respect that I bought the phone from ebay and therefor disqualified me from the free battery and charging station promotion. Thank's a lot LG

This phone meets all of my expectations. Seriously! I really like this phone. Changeable battery, expandable memory. Easy to use. Only Problem is that although it's unlocked you still loose some important features. Such as hotspot will not work unless I root the phone! Be careful when buying an "unlocked" phone to use with another carrier. Screen is nice. The second camera with wide angel is AMAZING! even during video you can easily change Camera's by simply hitting the small icon on the phone.

G5 fits all my needs with minimal problems, and is the perfect choice for someone wanting a good strong smartphone without coughing up a ton of money. The only downsides are setup physical heat, and some other setup quirks. The phone got too hot to touch when downloading 40 apps at once, but has never gotten that hot since, even when under extremely heavy video and cpu load. There also isn't an app screen unless you add it from the settings which i imagine can be confusing for some. The easy remove battery is a good idea if you dont like carrying a battery bank everywhere, and cuts out the middleman pretty easily, but please, PLEASE get one because your battery will only last you about 24 hours with medium use on medium brightness. Other than that, the phone is amazing. Great camera, fast processing speeds, good for multitasking, expandable storage of up to 2 terabytes if you can find an sd card that big. Its a great phone, yo. Would highly recommend as a first smartphone for the price - power ratio alone.Read full review
