    Top notch lens for a bargain price.

    The Tamron 70 to 200mm f2.8 Lens is an amazing piece of kit for the dollar. The focal lengths are perfect for portraits, and focusing is correct. I rarely use "AutoFocus", so the ring has to be positive. I would say if you're contemplating this lens, you should buy it. It provides a good bokeh and it's sharp. Which, in essence, is exactly what you want from this lens. It is heavy, but that's due to its good optics and build quality. You can knock this lens around. It's a strong performer, so it will always be in your bag.

    Amazing Value

    Such a great value. Amazingly sharp fast zoom. Autofocus can be noisy since it's screwdriven but it's fast and accurate.

    Awful!

    Sold me an unusable lens for over $400 and refuses to work with me on it. My $50 lens from amazon is 100times sharper than the junk he knowingly sold me and called it in pristine condition but in fact I now have a large paperweight instead of anything useful for photography.
