I haven't used it much, electing to plug my radio directly into the charging cord, but this is a good quality product and works well if I choose to charge my radio in it. You can also put a provided divider in it and just charge a battery if you like. I am pleased with the product despite not using it that much. I would recommend it.

Peak detecting charger for Icoms
This is a nice charger for Icom radios. It's actually a peak detecting charger which means it will stop charging once the battery is full. It also can adapt to several different radios/batteries by switching out inserts or cups. Light indicates status of the charging cycle. It also indicates if the battery is too low or has some other issue that will prevent it from charging properly.
