Greatest Selleck Movie
Outstanding movie, and one of Tom Selleck's best. The movie has a great story line and does a fabulous job in combining action with romance. High Road to China has just the right amount of action and romance to make it a truly great movie for the guys, while keeping the female viewer happy. The movie has superb flying scenes and great photography. This is a truly great movie for all audiences. Bess Armstrong is equally fabulous in her role, so much so that it makes one wonder why she gave up films for the theater. Watch it, you will not be disappointed.Outstanding movie, and one of Tom Selleck's best. The movie has a great story line and does a fabulous job in combining action with romance. Critics like to point out that Tom Selleck narrowly missed out on being Indiana Jones due to his commitments to the Magnum PI television series. Viewers of this comedy adventure can get a taste of what Selleck would have been like as Indiana with his performance as a frequently drunken former World War I pilot drafted to help glittery society girl Bess Armstrong fly across Europe to China to rescue her father and save the family fortune. Although the adventures are occasionally pretty improbable, Selleck and Bess Armstrong are believable in their interpretations and are aided by strong supporting character performances by Jack Weston, Wilford Brimley, and the ever enthusiastic Brian Blessed. A period piece that isn't too dated for today's audiences, this should have a wider release for ... This movie is by far the best movie that Tom Selleck has ever starred in. I am an ardent fan of his movies & Magnum PI series as well. I thought this movie was excellent in all areas. The scenery was exquisite, the acting was excellent and the story line was great. The chemistry between Tom & Bess Armstrong was very convincing & they both did an excellent job! This movie has always been a favorite of mine & I know anyone who watches it will love it too! I only wish that Hollywood would release this film on DVD so that this treasure could be preserved longer.This movie is by far the best movie that Tom Selleck has ever starred in. High Road to China a fun entertaining Selleck movie.
The music is wonderful and the action is good. Scenery is great. One of Tom Selleck good movies. No guts and glory...just a fun movie.

Great movie
It was a good purchase and one of my favorite movies. Tom Selleck is one of my favorite actors and seem to carry the show in the same manner he does with most of his movies. The order came quick and was packaged well.
