I can vouch for the bass man, Jack Bruce!
I hope to buy it with all those terrific songs on there. Back in the UK, some years before I came to live in America, my friend Danny Adler, was performing in Rocket 88, in Chelsea, London, where I was living. Danny introduced me the the amazing players in this band. Charlie Watts, of the Rolling Stones, Bob Hall, a brilliant pianist, and Jack Bruce from Cream. This was my first time of seeing these boys in action, and I felt so proud with my friend Danny singing and playing lead guitar out front. The music was incredible. My preference for musicians who really boost the music, is the rhythm section, bass and drums! Jack Bruce will always be considered as one of the world's very best! Would be nice if you could try the mofi gold cds before you buy them .
Item is expensive , i really feel the sound should be a lot better for the price , The is decent to some degree . The remaster or this title sounds just as good and is cheaper .

A classic.
The live half of this disk is mind blowing. To say that these three musicians pushed the envelope of collective improvisation is an understatement! What made this band so cool was the fact that the sound of their music is a blend of blues, rock and jazz. I had a chance to see cream perform at MSG this october, and although time has melowed the forceful delivery of their live shows, they were still great. CREAM IN ALL THEIR GLORY!
This is what Cream was really all about. The live sections are simply astounding to listen to. The Jamming is phenomenal. The studio material is very adventurous, at times quitter and shows the musical identity of each member (kind of like the 'white album'). The DCC version is supposed to be the best sounding remaster. I believe it. The album like all other Cream albums was not known for high fidelity sound. But Steve Hoffman at least really cleaned up and EQ'd the low end and created better stereo separation as best as possible.This is what Cream was really all about.
