I put these into a kit Firebird and these capture that “Firebird Sound” while at the same time “taking it to 11!” White hot, drives my amp into beautiful crunch and distortion while maintaining clarity of the screaming high lead notes. I have Gibson guitars that don’t sound this amazing. If you’re building or upgrading a Firebird, these are the pickups you want!!

(Yes, I opened one up to take a look). They do not have the reflector plates that vintage spec Firebirds have. These are basically generic mini-humbuckers.
