    Awesome Solid State Modelling Guitar Amplifier

    I have never been happier with an amp! As long as you're willing to figure out how to use the software, you can create tube-like tones at will. It comes with a two-button footswitch that makes it easy to switch between 2 of the 100 available preset slots or double as an effects pedal! The bass response is remarkably increased from the Mustang II (V.2), and the volume increase is phenomenal! Definitely a gigging amp, although you can practice with it with the volume turned way down.

    Amazing and powerful little amp!

    I've been playing an acoustic/electric Ovation 12-string guitar for 38 years and never really thought of playing it through an amp like this, but I've never heard my guitar sound better!!! I actually bought it for my Fender Strat, which works amazing through it too. I love the flexibility and the foot switch is very handy. I also bought a 4 button switch and love that too.

    Unbeatable bang for the buck.

    I have owned many many amps over the past 50 years. This little baby takes first prize for cost/value. I've been a tube snob for most of that time - this amp totally changed my mind. I also have the Mustang IV which is almost the same amp except it has two 12s and is 150 watts. The blind tests on Youtube are valid - experienced guitar players have a very hard time telling the difference between this amp and it's tube counterpart - which are many. The Fender presets that are downloadable via the Fuse software (free) are almost better than the original - because you can tweek them to get it just right. Seriously, this amp will blow you away. I do not usually write reviews for anything but this amp represents a whole new ballgame. Tube tone quality in a solid state amp - who knew?

    Dangers to be Wary of

    Guitar amp is amazing and produces fantastic versatility, sound and volume. However I ordered it to Australia and was not aware of the different voltages and how Amps are built for that countries voltage and blew it up within seconds. Luckily I was able to get it fixed and buy a transformer and it now works perfectly. So in short be wary of the voltage of your amp and what country you buy it from and what country you are in.
