    Nancy Visits Paris to Solve the Mystery of the 99 Steps

    This is the 43rd book in the original Nancy Drew series. Her father's legal case and her own mystery are linked by the 99 steps. Nancy, her father and Nancy's two friends, Bess and George, go to Paris to solve the two mysteries. Like all the Nancy Drew mysteries, there are parts of the story that involve dangerous moments for Nancy and her friends. The author is able to imagine many different ways the criminals try to torment Nancy, but in spite of all their attempts to harm her, she always manages to escape serious injury. Girls who are about ages 10 through 13 or so will probably enjoy this book and might even be interested in reading the entire original series of 56 books, written between 1930 and 1979 by Carolyn Keene.
