    Great source of general STAR WARS information

    If you're a big geekin' fanboy who needs to occasionally bone up on your general knowledge of that "Galaxy Far, Far Away", then the Star Wars Encyclopedia is the best A-to-Z quick reference guide to get. Not only does this giant tome cover subjects from the original trilogy, it also includes tidbits of info from the various Dark Horse comic books, the novels (including the Timothy Zahn trilogy), the Droids and Ewoks cartoon shows, and even the Ewoks TV movies and the infamous `Star Wars Holiday Special'! There's all sorts of characters, weaponry, ships, equipment, planets, and much more between the covers! It's also a wonderful resource that'll help put an end to many of those knockdown-dragout Star Wars fanboy arguments you're always having ...

    The Star Wars Encyclopedia

    As any dire hard Star Wars fan knows, the universe to too big to be contained into a normal brain. Thankfully there is a book that shares all the knowledge of the universe that is Star Wars. I bought the book to expand my knowledge of the expanded universe and picture in my head many of the characters that the books were including and discussing. This is a complete and well thought out project that took time and love and it shows. My chief complaint, however, is like any good book, it quickly stops being current as the stories continue but the book stays the same. New battles, new characters and new villans that aren't included is a troublesome event and that truly is the only discouraging thing that I have to say about this book.     Awsomeness

    This book is a must have for any Star Wars collector. It has every piece of information that you can imagine and more. We are using it to run a D & D game and it has been a fountain of information so far.
