    Dylans's Acustic Excellence

    If you like to hear Dylan perform and get an idea of his musical abilities take a listen. The entire album is him solo on the guitar and harmonica. There is no loud band in the background filling the frequency space with energy. This is one of my favorite Dylan albums. The songs aren't those you might associate with Dylan but they are enjoyable none the less.

    Dylan unadorned

    This album of traditional folk songs, not written by Dylan, is a return to his debut style, with just voice, guitar and harmonica. I bought it mainly because of the intricate guitar work. If you're a "true" Dylan fan, you should have this album, though it may not satisfy the casual fan.
