Worked great. Remove old switch and take the toggle piece off of it. Put toggle piece on new switch and install. The new switch and old toggle will work perfectly. No drilling or plastic removal needed.

The seller shipped the switch I ordered the same day the order was placed. You can’t ask for better service than that. The switch arrived two business days after it was ordered and worked perfectly. The new switch was used to repair a defective switch on a 6 gallon shop vac (catalog no. 93306 on the shop vac box) purchased at Lowe’s in 2013. I have attached photos of the original switch as installed by the manufacturer and after I removed it.
