She had a wardrobe of aliases: Millicent Lois Wilson, Grace Potter, and Mrs. Heath Wilson Roberts, just to name few. Her marriages lifted her to heights of luxury, but her willfulness to the con dropped her to depths of despair., In the late 1800's, Eleanor was raised as a stepchild in the home of a well-to-do Portland family. At the age of seventeen she struck out on her own with a small inheritance. Her independence, self-reliance, charm and beauty led her into a life of avarice, lust and crime. At one time she was known as " The Queen of the Gold Diggers!"
