Very good hearing protectors by 3M. I have used a ''3M™ Peltor™ Tactical Sport™ Electronic Headset, MT16H210F-479-SV" and can say, that there is nothig better than this model. For me the 6S are more comfortable and with more practical shape, especially when shoot with rifle.

This is a new version of the old electronic hearing protectors they used to sell. Some changes for the better, some worse. My old model protectors used to constantly turn on by themselves, with a knob on each ear one always gets hit when packed in a bag. They have made the power much easier to keep turned off and added automatic power-off. They also made the muffs much more compact, much more long-gun friendly. Bad news. No longer stereo -- one microphone, one knob. The same sound is fed into each ear. This makes them OK for a target range, but *useless* for a hunter or anyone in the real world. The top volume setting used to amplify the sound above what you would normally hear. In this new model, you can't turn it up for enhanced hearing. So, fine for the target range, but no ... This is my third set, not because they are failing but because they are that great. My first pair are installed on my Bump Helmet attached permanently. My second is in my rifle bags for AR15s, and this one is going in my range bag for handguns. These are the best for the price range, slim, solid and very comfortable for the shooters. Need good hearing protection, Peltor has them for your shooting needs, get some and protect your hearing in style.This is my third set, not because they are failing but because they are that great. To be honest I wasn’t expecting these headphones to be as good as they are. They couldn’t be better. Super comfortable and low profile. I have had zero problems with them after 5 times to the range. I like the way they fold down to a reasonable size. Maybe a little carry bag would be nice. As far as sound suppression goes, they are better than my BOSE, but then the BOSE are designed first as headphones, not for heavy duty sound suppression.
