Can't Go Wrong with Standard Motor Parts
I had bought a 2001 Blazer last year and had problems filling up gas at the pump and had over filled the tank more times than I want to admit. I had changed the vent solenoid with one from Dorman first which I thought fixed my problem but I had overfilled yet again, DOH! This was because the pump kept kicking off every few seconds and it was hard to tell when it was getting full. So I don't blame Dorman for their part, because it was the purge valve that had to actually be replaced. So after changing purge valve and putting in a new canister, everything was well for a few weeks then it started acting up again. I figured it had up be the vent valve as it had gas touch it (contaminated) before so found this one from Standard Motor Parts. Comparing the two, Standard does have a higher ... So while the Dorman part I'm sure would've still been fine, there is no mistaking the quality of Standard Motor Parts time and again. I've used their different parts over the years and still recommend them! Oh, and I can fill up at the pump just fine now!
