    Excellent UPS to prevent data loss in a NAS unit during power cuts

    Excellent UPS. It has many advanced features, including self-tests, and most importantly, the ability to communicate with a NAS to report that there has been a power cut and that the plugged devices are running on battery. With this feature, you can configure the NAS to safely shut down. It feels that it is a very high-quality UPS. Updating the firmware only required plugging the unit into the network. The unit downloaded the firmware automatically and offered to install it from the little LCD display. I did not have to use a PC for that process. Registering the unit online was easy, gave me an extra year of warranty, and allows me to monitor the status of the unit remotely.
