Brass .223 case trim to length
As anyone who reloads knows,case preparation is the most boring, tedious and time consuming part of the reloading process. This adapter make trimming case to length a pleasure. It is an excellent improvement, over the standard hand cranked shaft that comes with the Lyman universal case trimmer.It is easy to install. I use a battery operated screw driver, for turning the shaft. I went from around 200 .223 cases an hour being trimmed to length,with the standard crank handle on the Lyman case trimmer( with my wrist and hand aching for a few days after using this)Too over 600 .223 cases being trimmed to length per hour. No aching wrist or hands. One suggestion, is to keep the shaft lightly greased. Applying a light coat of grease to the shaft around every 50 cases. Use a ... I have wanted one of these forever. Using the hand crank always wore a hole in my hand. the most economical upgrade to my old lyman case trimmer. Lots of other trimmers out there but this will do till the lyman wears out. Easy to install and use. Just install, adjust, hook up your drill and go. Good price as well

Drill adaptor
It works good but I prefer to use a light battery drill. I do not know how long the nylon bushing will last. It does put a lot more wear on the bushing and stop plate. I also set it up so the grill rides on the bench and not hanging on the shaft. Should help preserve the bushing a little more. When doing many cases 1500 or more it is a great help. Lyman case trimmer
If your on the fence about getting it, buy it. Saves so much time and energy. As soon as it is set to length, it rips through cases like nothing. I check length on every dozen or so to make sure the collar hasn't slipped.

I had quite a number of surplus cases that needed to be trimmed and this little jewel makes it a very much easier step in processing them. With the variable speed portable drill that I already had, it makes the trimming go quickly. Saves a whole lot of elbow grease, pun intended.
