  • Russian version or War & Peace-1967

The captions were large enough to be easily read. The on location scenary cannot be seen in any other film version. A good historical piece. 1812 and in context of when it was filmed. The 50th anniversary of the revolution. Some of the scenes are a little blury.

  • war and peace

The acting below average and the filming in general the same.Of course it was an old russian movie, but still. I bought it because I enjoyed reading the book. However I don't regret buying it, and I imagine I'll watch it again some day.
