The battery was included, but no charger, so be aware of that (you'll want a 25W charger). It was locked to AT&T unlike the product description, but that was okay for me; I have AT&T. The back cover holding the battery and SIM in is thin, but the bits holding it in seem to work well.

One downside with the phone being AT&T GSM unlocked is the phone cannot be updated normally unless you have AT&T as a carrier (I have T-mobile). To update the phone, I had to download Samsung Smart Switch on PC and use that to get the latest updates.
