    Where do I begin. I had an old hard drive from an old laptop with a ton of pictures and 50gigs of music I couldn’t get to. This was so perfect and CHEAP! I remember paying $40 for a rocket fish brand one like this at Best Buy years back. It arrive quickly even though it was untracked it and packed appropriately. I guess it slides open but I just snapped it closed. The drive itself had these fat screws I thought would make use impossible but took them out and it’s perfect. Thank you!!!

    The item was just as described. It was in good condition, looked new. All the parts were there, and it tested perfectly on two different hard drives. It had a great price. The only shortcoming was that it is difficult to take the cover off. I may oil it to make it easier to slide on and off.

    These external USB hard drive enclosures make it easy to reuse 2.5 " hard drives from old laptops or pulled during system upgrades. They're excellent to use those old drives to make external backups of data files and protect data in the case of a system failure or other loss. They're simple to use, let you see exactly what type and size drive you're working with. Very handy and useful.

    Drive Identification easy with a Clear enclosure.

    The enclosure is easy to use. It provides a means for me to utilize older laptop drives that I've had in a storage box. Having the enclosure designed with clear plastic makes it easy to identify which drive is in the enclosure.

    I like it

    Uh. I like the slide out feature. It's pretty good! The connections fit well the harddrive is snug so it doesn't bounce around. Really a great deal, and free shipping! that was amazing! one of the reasons why i actually picked this product. I also like the clarity. Just being able to see the thing through the case is alwasy a fun feature for everything that you have.

    OK, I guess.

    Kinda sorta. I bought two of these to save two laptop drives. One fit in the case and works fine, the other mates up with the plug, but doesn’t fit in the case and doesn’t work at all. I was hoppy for better than zero sum.
