The item was NOT brand new (the description given in both title and item description). 23 out of 54 pages have been written on with both pencil and ink. I will have to buy a different copy for my student.
That said, the level of care in packaging was excellent. Despite my mailman cramming the package into the mailbox, and the heavy rain received today, there were no creases or folds, and the book was dry inside the package.
